SNAKE WITH FLIPPERS
❃ Plesiosaurus was a large, long-necked reptile that lived in the oceans during the Mesozoic Era. It had a long, snake-like body and four large flippers that it used to swim through the water. It was a carnivore, preying on smaller reptiles, fish, and squid.
❃ They were some of the first reptiles to return to the oceans after the mass extinction of the dinosaurs. They thrived in the oceans for over 150 million years, until they went extinct along with most of the other marine reptiles.
