❃ Beelzebufo was a frog that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. It is believed to have been the largest frog that ever lived, with some specimens reaching up to 16 inches in length.
❃ The name "Beelzebufo" comes from the Greek word for "devil frog", and it is thought that this name was given to the animal because of its large size and ferocious appearance. The Beelzebufo was a carnivore, and is known to have preyed upon small dinosaurs.
❃ Fossils of the Beelzebufo have been found on the island of Madagascar, which was once part of the Gondwana supercontinent.
