BORNEO BIG NOSE
❃ Proboscis monkeys (arguably our favorites) are large primates with long, pendulous noses. They are found in the jungles of Borneo and live in small groups consisting of a few adult males, several females, and their young. These unusual-looking animals are good swimmers and spend a lot of time in the trees.
❃ The monkey is easily recognizable by its long, bulbous nose, which is thought to be an adaptation for attracting mates. Males also have large bellies, another feature that is thought to be sexually selected.
❃ They're also proficient swimmers and can often be seen wading through rivers in search of food. These monkeys are mostly frugivorous, but they will also eat leaves, flowers, and insects
